History
The first edition of the event was held in 2017.
The second edition of the Cultural Journey of Lauro de Freitas was held in 2019 and had the theme “New Paths to Culture”. The event promotes the dissemination of independent local artists, bands and cultural groups for the appreciation and recognition of the category in the municipality. For Manoel dos Santos, secretary of Culture and Tourism at the opportunity, the journey is a space for mobilization that introduces local producers in the development of Lauro de Freitas.
"The Cultural Journey covers the various territories of the municipality, as well as the multiple productions, whether in plastic art, dance, music, theater and others. With the registration, the municipal administration has an easier time welcoming local artists", he explains the manager.
The first stage of the journey consists of a registration with the main information to be stored in a database from this documentation, artists can be selected for future presentations at cultural and popular events. During the 2nd Cultural Journey of Lauro de Freitas, 274 artists were registered.
The second stage, on the other hand, had workshops that addressed techniques and procedures for the development of cultural projects. The end of the journey took place with the certification ceremony.

His Brazilian musicality and bold interpretations won, in addition to a loyal audience, the praise of critics. As an interpreter, Erick worked with the groups Cesta Básica (PB), Mercedes Band (CE) and Grupo Etc and Tal (AL), already with the groups Sine Qua Non (PB) and Zaraquê Trio (RN) recorded albums where he also acted as composer.
