Aideê Nascimento dos Anjos lives in the neighborhood of Portão. Since she was a child, Dona Aideê has been developing popular culture in her community, she says that she is a talent she inherited from her father and paternal grandparents. The suit of kings in the Portão neighborhood she began to practice as a young girl with Mestra Venú, whom she revered; he began to participate in the preparations for the Terno de Reis, where he also represented in the municipality of Lauro de Freitas at the Parque de Exposições da Bahia, many colleges, several municipalities.
With more than one hundred components divided into different groups, Aideê produces and organizes events throughout the year, such as cultural parades, Christmas choreographies, Afro dance, weddings in the countryside and very traditional presentations such as the Terno de Reis and the Bumba-Meu-Boi.
As a legitimate representative of the people of Santo and a true Master of Knowledge and Doing, Aideê is a tireless warrior in the fight for the preservation of culture and religious manifestations of African origins.
Being a Master of Popular Culture, recognized and awarded by the Ministry of Culture/Department of Citizenship and Cultural Diversity through the Project “A Iráwó de Portão”, presented by the Department of Culture of Lauro de Freitas.
Despite having a degree in Business Administration from the former Colégio Ipitanga , what motivated her throughout her life was always her love for her art, having kept for many years the Suit de Reis Estrela Dalva de Portão and the Afro Azânia Dance Group, which brings together young people and children in this process of passing on tradition and ancestry, confident that involvement in this process is fundamental to giving meaning to life outside of drugs and valuing education.
She says she is in love with Lauro de Freitas and proud of her community:
“I can say that I have many children, I have my community in Portão, I am proud to be a black woman from Portão”.

His Brazilian musicality and bold interpretations won, in addition to a loyal audience, the praise of critics. As an interpreter, Erick worked with the groups Cesta Básica (PB), Mercedes Band (CE) and Grupo Etc and Tal (AL), already with the groups Sine Qua Non (PB) and Zaraquê Trio (RN) recorded albums where he also acted as composer.
