Considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the north coast of Bahia, Buraquinho is a great option for all audiences. Of medium extension, it has a good strip of light and soft sand. The sea is blue and slightly agitated, with the formation of some waves, very suitable for a refreshing swim.
The beach is surrounded by coconut trees, reserving beautiful landscapes for its visitors, especially at dusk, in addition to having good infrastructure. Another attraction is the meeting of the sea with the River Joanes, which makes the waters calmer and with a mild temperature, ideal for the practice of some water sports.
Buraquinho is surprising for its diversity. Being close to the mouth of the River Joanes, the beach offers visitors two options. It is possible to take a nice swim in the sea or, if you prefer, to cool off in the waters of the river. The beauty of the scene where the river meets the sea leaves anyone awestruck.
The infrastructure of the beach still has several tents, which offer that neat little fish caught on the spot.
It is also much sought after by practitioners of nautical sports, such as kitesurfing and stand up paddle. The beach even has places that rent the equipment.
At the intersection with the mouth of the River Joanes, it is full of coconut trees and curious rock formations. It is divided between the south with strong waves and the north with a mixture of the sea and the river, ideal for relaxing baths, jet-skiing and kayaking. The beach is still well preserved, with little infrastructure and receiving few visitors.
