Flora Lee is a plastic artist, actress and practitioner of circus arts, who resides in the city of Lauro de Freitas, but travels throughout Bahia taking her art to audiences of all ages.

Born in Soteropolitan, her artistic career began with her entry into the Visual Arts course at the Federal University of Bahia, in 1983, and continues with her journey of self-discovery, also passing through theater workshops in 1998 and her passion for stilts in the middle of 2000, the latter being his main professional activity for 15 years.

Flora participated in several artistic exhibitions and craft fairs, as well as performing as a clown at children's events and parties, also performing with stilt circus performances and in various street and stage theater shows.

The artist has numerous events under her belt, including: the Carnival of Salvador with the Grupo Cultural Gueto Poético of the Casa do Teatro Popular in Salvador; Cultural Walks in several cities in Bahia and in Aracaju from 2001 to 2011; the Passion of Christ by Lauro de Freitas, one of the biggest street shows in Bahia; with visual arts, he participated in several exhibitions in Salvador, Camaçari and in Lauro de Freitas with the Grupo de Artistas UNIALF; with oil on canvas and clay sculptures and papietagem (masks), art on walls and doors; in handicrafts she worked with terrariums, small gardens in glass vases with great artistic touches.

We do not know of a female stilt-legged artist, even more considering Flora's versatility, who is very good at dancing, performing Swing* on stilts, with flags, light sticks, always with great care in the costumes and make-up, revering the joy and multicolor for over 15 years. She is an artist to be revered.

*Swing is a circus technique that combines dance with these other applications (flags, cloths, ribbons, light etc).

His Brazilian musicality and bold interpretations won, in addition to a loyal audience, the praise of critics. As an interpreter, Erick worked with the groups Cesta Básica (PB), Mercedes Band (CE) and Grupo Etc and Tal (AL), already with the groups Sine Qua Non (PB) and Zaraquê Trio (RN) recorded albums where he also acted as composer.
